Dendritic cells are antigen-presenting cells (APCs) which play a critical role in the regulation of the adaptive immune response.

Dendritic cells (DCs) are unique APCs and have been referred to as “professional” APCs, since the principal function of DCs is to present antigens, and because only DCs have the ability to induce a primary immune response in resting naïve T lymphocytes.

To perform this function, DCs are capable of capturing antigens, processing them, and presenting them on the cell surface along with appropriate co-stimulation molecules.

DCs also play a role in the maintenance of B cell function and recall responses. Thus, DCs are critical in the establishment of immunological memory.

These properties open new treatment possibilities regarding auto-immune and immune-mediated disease such as Multiple Sclerosis and Diabetes Type 1, as well as prevention and treatment of cancer, such as prostate cancer.

We produce Dendritic Cells from autologous peripheral blood monocytes, cultured and propagated in GMP conform laboratory. DCs have to be appropriately activated to achieve either anti-cancer properties or immune modulating activity. Both activation methods are crucial for the result and proprietary knowledge.

Dendritic cells from your own blood can be activated to serve as a vaccine against cancer (prostate, breast, and more), against viral infections (HIV, Dengue, Herpes and more) or as an unspecific boost to fortify your immune system.

Dendritic Cells are in the middle of your immune system and responsible for detecting cancer but also coordinating the immune response against cancer, involving B-Lymphocytes, T-Lymphocytes and Natural Killer cells (see section “Cancer Treatment concepts”)

Cancer Treatment Concepts

Cancer treatments in existing cancers usually need a combined treatment with orthodox medicine such as surgery, chemotherapy and new state of the art immunotherapy with activated Dendritic Cells, Natural Killer Cells and Oncolytic Virus.

Dendritic Cells are harvested from your own peripheral blood and activated during 6 days in our laboratories.

Treatment protocol involves starting doses of 3 injections (day 1, 30, 120), followed by yearly injections. 

Natural killer cells (NK cells) are white blood cells that destroy infected and diseased cells, like cancer cells. They’re also a type of lymphocyte, like B-cells and T-cells. NK cells can destroy harmful cells in the early stages, preventing viruses and cancer cells from spreading. Natural killer cells patrol your body, scanning cells for markers that indicate healthy or diseased cells. If they detect signs a cell is harmful, they release deadly chemicals into the cell to kill it. Whether or not an NK cell kills depends on the signals it does (or doesn’t) receive from the cell it’s scanning (the target cell).

Natural killer cells don’t attack cells with markers that indicate they’re healthy cells that belong in your body.

Natural Killer Cells are harvested from your own peripheral blood and expanded and activated over 2-3 weeks in our laboratories.

Treatment protocol involves several injections according to cancer type and severity. 

Oncolytic virotherapy contains non-pathogenic oncolytic ECHO-7 virus in form of injection (treatments) or as food supplement (prevention of cancer, prevention of metastasis after cancer surgery/treatment)

Oncolytic virotherapy possesses oncolytic, oncotropic and immunomodulating properties. This means that the virus can find and destroy cancer cells in the human body, activating the body’s immune defence at the same time. The virus selectively targets cancer cells and is safe and well tolerated.

Echo-7 is the first approved and still the one and only genetically unmodified virus available worldwide for cancer treatment.

Oncolytic Virus is administered by intramuscular injection.

Virotherapy must be a regular and long-term treatment (at least 3 years) involving a series of intramuscular and/or peritumoral injections. 

PNC-27 is a peptide molecule that contains amino acid residues of the p53 protein. It binds to HDM-2 receptors, which are highly expressed on the cell membrane in tumours. Based on research, it was determined that these receptors are present in the cellular components of both solid and non-solid tumours, which increases the therapeutic potential of the peptide. After binding, the peptide induces cell death in both its forms (apoptosis and necrosis). As a result, the tumour can be reduced, limited, and, most importantly, prevented from spreading to surrounding healthy tissues (metastasis). PNC 27 combats solid tissue tumour cells as well as non-solid tissue tumour cells

FOXO4-DRI is a synthetic peptide specifically engineered to disrupt the interaction between the FOXO4 protein and the tumour suppressor protein p53 within senescent (aging) cells. By targeting and selectively inducing apoptosis (programmed cell death) in these senescent cells—cells that have ceased dividing and accumulate with age—FOXO4-DRI has gained significant attention as a potent anti-aging therapeutic candidate.
